What is Pound? POUND is a cardio jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing, and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and Pilates-inspired movements.
Using Ripstix, lightly-weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercise, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.
Designed for all fitness levels and easy to modify, POUND provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, improving your health, and rocking out! POUND’s alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to rockstars of all ages and abilities.

About Daniel: Daniel Shattuck has been teaching POUND for over six years and is currently a "POUND Icon" Master Trainer. In addition to his regular classes and special events, he is charged with facilitating trainings to license new instructors, leading master classes, and providing continuing education to over 25,000 instructors worldwide.
